We’ll have everything ready for you—no need to lift a finger (except maybe to sip your coffee). Cozy up with a blanket at our reserved table in Town Park, where you’ll enjoy locally roasted coffee and hearty breakfast burritos while watching the vibrant hot air balloons lift off during the Telluride Balloon Festival. Telluride Taco Trek - tacos worth the trek, and only locals know where to find them!
Description: Not all tacos are created equal — On this delicious adventure, we’ll hit up three of Telluride’s top local-approved taco spots — places you might miss if you didn’t know where to look. In between bites, we’ll ride the scenic gondola and explore local stories, mountain legends, and the hidden gems that make this town unforgettable. Come taste the taco trail only insiders know.

Description: Explore off-the-beaten-path waterfalls and canyons with a local guide. Includes private access spots that aren’t on most tourist maps. A must-see location that will complete your visit, you will share with future generations – there is a twist to this adventure, more to come!

What to expect and how to prepare: Moderate. This is an excursion that will take you to places that a local would only know about. It is so secret that most locals have not even been there. There is a chance your feet may get wet, but in Colorado, they will dry fast.
What to Bring:
- Backpack – Keep your essentials handy while staying hands-free.
- Hiking boots or sturdy shoes – Trails can be rocky and slippery. Good footwear is a must.
- Water – Hydration is key, especially with the elevation gain. Bring a snack if you need extra energy.
- Layers – Mountain weather changes fast, so dress in layers and bring a light jacket.
- Sun protection – A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen will keep you comfortable.
- Camera or phone – Capture the golden trail of aspens!
- Trekking poles (optional) – Helpful for stability on inclines, though I don’t use them.
- A sense of adventure! – The most important thing to bring!
